Alexandria Technical and Community College claimed the Region 13B Volleyball Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-13) victory over M State at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids. The Spartans are now 16-14 on the season.

The Alexandria Legends came into Fergus Falls having won four of their last five matches and they continued their excellent play with a 3-0 sweep of M State, winning 25-20, 25-22 and 25-17.
M State bounced back from a 3-1 loss to College of DuPage on Friday night to record a 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-15, 25-15) victory over Rochester on Saturday afternoon in Fergus Falls. The Lady Spartans had 12 service aces, led by 5 from Kaleigh Peterson. Peterson also had 8 kills, 4 digs, and a solo block.
Friday night the M State lady Spartans hosted College of DuPage in a non-conference match in Fergus Falls. DuPage recorded a 25-20 win in the first set, but M State evened the match with a 25-17 victory in the second set. DuPage then won 25-11 and 25-16 to close out the match in four sets.
The M State lady Spartans earned their signature win of the 2023 season on Saturday afternoon in Fergus Falls as they handed the top ranked Century College Wood Ducks their first MCAC loss of the season and just their second loss of the year, winning 3-2 (25-18, 22-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-11).
