We offer courses online and at our four unique campuses in northwestern Minnesota, in the communities of Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena.

While our athletics programs and facilities are primarily based on the Fergus Falls campus, you don’t need to be a Fergus Falls student to be an M State Spartan – any M State student can be a Spartan athlete, whether attending on-campus or online. Wherever you’re based, you’ll be part of a strong college community where faculty, staff and fellow students know your name.

If you’re planning to pursue advanced study after your time at M State, we offer seamless transfer programs and pathways to four-year colleges and universities, helping you move on without losing time or credits – and often at a significantly lower cost than if you had started at a larger university. Many Spartan athletes go on to continue competing at their transfer school.
