M State fell in 3 sets (25-18, 25-12, 25-12) to Trinity Bible College in a homecoming volleyball match on Saturday afternoon. Leaders for the lady Spartans were Sophie Sanstead (13/14 serving, 3 aces, 10 set assists, 5 kills), Keela Johnson (6/6 serving, 5 kills, 10 digs), Taylor Dingwall (9/11 serving, 6 kills, 1 solo block, 8 digs), Katie Hess (11 digs) and Kiara Goggleye (9 digs).
The M State lady Spartans hosted St. Cloud Technical and Community College in a MCAC Southern Division volleyball contest on Wednesday night. The Cyclone survived a competitive first set to take a 28-26 victory and then cruised through the final two sets, 25-10, 25-20, to win the match in 3 sets.

The M State volleyball team closed out their regular season schedule with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-22) victory over Ridgewater College on Friday night, bringing their record to 15-13 overall and 14-2 against MCAC teams. The lady Spartans will open Region XIII play next Friday at 7:00pm against Mesabi Range at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

The Alexandria Legends came into Fergus Falls having won four of their last five matches and they continued their excellent play with a 3-0 sweep of M State, winning 25-20, 25-22 and 25-17.
M State bounced back from a 3-1 loss to College of DuPage on Friday night to record a 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-15, 25-15) victory over Rochester on Saturday afternoon in Fergus Falls. The Lady Spartans had 12 service aces, led by 5 from Kaleigh Peterson. Peterson also had 8 kills, 4 digs, and a solo block.
