Lady Spartans Win Over Western Tech
The M State volleyball team knocked off Western Wisconsin Tech on Friday night, posting a 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 26-24) victory in Fergus Falls.

Serving leaders for M State were Sydney Hovland (20/21), Mia Greenman (15/16, 3 aces), Kassandra Algarate (18/20, 2 aces) and Taylor Berndt (6/7). Corina Mark served up 4 aces.
Four hitters recorded double digit kills, led by Algarate with 13. Hannah Ekse, Katie Merrick and Megan Dreger each had 11 kills. Ekse also had four blocks. Hovland distributed 41 set assists and had 13 digs. Greenman had a team high 31 digs, followed by Algarate with 17 and Mark contributed 12.
The Lady Spartans (18-6) will host Rochester at 12:00pm Saturday at M State in Fergus Falls to end their regular season.
