The #4 Spartan Volleyball returned to it's winning ways as it finished its homestand Wednesday. The Spartans were able to sweep Mayville JV team 25-23, 25-14, 25-23. The win brings the Spartans record to 12 -1 on the season.
Leading the way for the Spartans offensively was Alexa Mortenson and Katherine Masley as they each tallied 10 kills. Hannah Eske was right behind them with 9. Sydney Hovland had another double digit game in digs and assists. She finished with 29 assists and 14 digs. Bailey Marty led the team with 29 digs.
The Spartans team will return to the road this weekend as travel to Austin, MN Friday to face Riverland Community College and then travel to Worthington, MN to take on Minnesota West Community College on Saturday. Opening serve on Friday is scheduled for 6:30pm.
