Katelyn Larson was the medalist at Cougar Invite

There was a field of 3 players in the women's event and M State's Katelyn Larson was the medalist with a score of 96.

"It was a very nice start to the season for Katelyn Larson," noted Coach Retzlaff.  "She played very well for the first nine holes and while she struggled a bit on her final nine, there was a lot of good play in her first college round.  She is a great addition to our golf program."

The Spartans will next compete at home in the Spartan Invitational at Pebble Lake Golf Club on Friday, September 6.  It will be a 10:30am shotgun start.
