Trinity Bible Women Pull Away in 2nd Half for 77-48 Win Over Lady Spartans
Trinity Bible College broke open a ten point game at halftime by outscoring M State 20-6 in the third quarter on the way to a 77-48 win over the lady Spartans on Wednesday night in Fergus Falls. The Lions shot 40.3% (29-72) from the field and forced 39 turnovers. They also made 12-of-14 free throw attempts.

Leaders for Trinity Bible were Julie Hull (16 points), Kayla DeCampos (15 points, 3 steals) and Madeline Berkey (13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals). Mikendra Ledgerwood and Addy Warneke added 8 points each.
Taylor Dingwall had a team high 16 points and led M State with 6 steals. Kaitlyn Olson the only sophomore, dominated the boards with 22 rebounds, including 8 on the offensive end, while scoring 10 points on Sophomore Night at the college. Kaylee Robinson recorded 9 rebounds, dishing out 7 assists and had 3 steals. Makenzie Dale came off the bench to produce 7 points.
"After battling influenza A last week and postponing both of our games, we struggled a bit tonight," noted head coach Jodi Holleman of M State. "Trinity Bible was able to rotate four girls every couple minutes. Proud of the effort in the fourth quarter."
M State (7-14) will travel to Willmar on Saturday for a 1:00pm start against Ridgewater College. They will host Anoka-Ramsey on Thursday, February 19, in a makeup game for their final home action of the season.
