Lady Spartans Open Classic with 64-56 Come From Behind Win Over Vikings
The lady Spartans overcame a one point halftime deficit, out-scoring Minnesota North College – Itasca 21-13 in the third quarter and 34-25 in the second half to take a 64-56 victory over the Vikings on the first day of the Spartan Holiday Classic at M State in Fergus Falls. M State hit 40% (26-65) of their field goal attempts and had four players reach double figures.

Kaitlyn Olson (16 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists) and Terri Wood (11 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists) each recorded a double-double, and Kiara Goggleye had a team high 17 points. Taylor Dingwall added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Kaylee Robinson led the lady Spartans with 7 assists and also scored 8 points. The Spartans held a 54-38 advantage on the boards, pulling down 19 offensive rebounds.
Minnesota North College – Itasca made only 31.5% (23-73) of their shots on the day.
