33 Turnovers proved to be the undoing of the lady Spartans on Wednesday night at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids. The turnovers led to 36 points for the Rams in their 66-45 victory over M State. Anoka-Ramsey shot 46.7% (28-60) from the field, while holding M State to 34% (17-50) efficiency. The lady Spartans won the rebounding battle 39-31, but couldn't overcome the turnovers.
Alani Pettis scored a game high 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and came away with 8 steals to lead the Rams. She was joined in double figures by Makayla Holten with 14 points. Jordan McMahon added 9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and a pair of assists, and Alex McNeill had 9 points, 7 steals and 3 assists.
