Neuerburg Qualifies for NJCAA Division III Women's National Golf Tournament

M State women’s golfer Amara Neuerburg qualified individually for the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Chautaqua, New York, shooting a two-round total of 178 (92 at Pebble Lake on Wednesday and 86 at Hawley on Friday). She will compete at the National Tournament June 2-5.

M State women's golfer Amara Neuerburg qualified individually for the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Chautaqua, New York, shooting a two-round total of 178 (92 at Pebble Lake on Wednesday and 86 at Hawley on Friday).  She will compete at the National Tournament June 2-5.

"We are very excited for Amara," commented head coach Jason Retzlaff. "She played her best golf of the season in the qualifying round including a tremendous round of 86 on Friday in Hawley.  Her course management and chipping around the green were excellent.  She avoided big numbers and played very consistently throughout the 36 holes. She will have a great experience competing at the national tournament in Chautaqua."
