Spartans Place 1st and 3rd at Luck Invitational
Results of the Luck Invitational at Luck Municipal Golf Course (Par 72) in Luck, WI.
*Spartans win the team title with a score of 308.
*Southwest Tech (Fennimore, WI) was 2nd with a 328 and the Spartan Gold team was 3rd with a 339.
*M State's Carter Justesen was the medalist with a round of 75.
*Hunter Moen was runner-up with a 76.
*For the 2nd time this Fall, the Spartans were able to card 4 scores in the 70's.

"The Spartan Men's golf team struggled at the beginning of today's Luck Invitational Golf tournament in Luck, WI. It was a windy day on a difficult course with narrow tree lined fairways and many undulations. Freshman, Carter Justesen had a great day finishing as medalist shooting a 1 over par 75. Hunter Moen played exceptionally well on the back nine finishing at 2 over par with a 76. Really proud of how our guys stepped up after a rocky start."
The Spartans will next compete on Sunday in a dual meet against the University of MN Morris as part of the Spartan Invite on Sunday.
