Trinity Bible Comes from 4 Points Down at Halftime to Beat Spartan Men by 8
On sophomore night at M State, Hayden Knick scored a team high 21 points, hitting 7-of-14 3-pointers in the game. Fifteen of those points came in the first half as the Spartans took a 44-40 advantage into the locker room at halftime. Trinity Bible College put together a solid second half, outscoring M State 49-37 to take an 89-81 victory.

Sophomore Braylon Baldwin was also in double figures with 18 points. Baldwin just missed a double-double as he secured 9 rebounds, and also dished out 6 assists. Carter Clark was the top rebounder with 10. He also had 6 assists and scored 8 points. Drew Overby came off the bench to score 11 points, while distributing 4 assists, and Devon Berg added 9 points. M State shot 42.3% (30-71) overall and made 36.4% (16-44) of their 3-point shots.
The Lions shot 48% (39-81) from the field and had all five of their starters reach double figures. Leaders were Jonathan Ogugua (26 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals), Jordan Reeves (16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists), Sam Franks (14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals), Giovani Saldivar (11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists) and Arsene Metzger (10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals).
M State (12-13) will travel to Willmar on Saturday for a 3:00pm tip-off against Ridgewater College.
