M State Men Take Down Raiders in Overtime Thriller
The M State Men’s Basketball team outscored Central Lakes Community College 15-10 in the overtime session on Tuesday night, recording a 96-91 road win over the Raiders in Brainerd. The Spartans led 46-39 at the half, but the home team rallied back with a 42-35 second half advantage to force OT.

M State hit 47.7% (31-65) of their field goal attempts and 40% (8-20) from 3-point range. They also won the battle of the boards, 41-28. Central Lakes made 35-of-74 shots from the floor for 47.3%.
Braylon Baldwin had an excellent all-around game with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. James Hamilton added 24 points and 9 rebounds and Carter Clark finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Ty Vig chipped in with 7 points and pulled down a team high 11 rebounds. Leng Akol came off the bench to contribute 9 points and Seth Hamilton scored 7 points, while securing 5 rebounds.
Five Raiders reached double figures with Korde Roseman and Eli Tautges each scoring 17 points. Wylee Dauenbaugh had 14, Delbert Hardin 12 and Marnaries Ferguson 10. Hardin led the team with 6 rebounds, while Max Wilson and Anthony Giadyu distributed 4 assists each.
M State (4-2) is at Minnesota North College – Hibbing on Friday night and at Minnesota North College – Rainy River on Saturday afternoon.
