St. Cloud led by 13 points late in the first half and held a 40-34 halftime advantage, however, the game was close throughout the second half with a total of 7 ties and 5 lead changes.
Javin Tindall led the Spartans with 24 points, while adding 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Belind Alemadi finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals, and Mikele Kambalo contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds. Khamani Steckler had a team high 10 rebounds and scored 6 points. Tyson McArthur had a solid all-around game with 6 points, 6 assists, 2 blocked shots and 9 rebounds.
Tong Diing (13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals), Matthew Ellingson (11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 4 blocked shots), and Xavier Jordan (8 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, 4 rebounds) led the Cyclones.
M State (12-8, 4-3 MCAC South) has a home game next Wednesday against Minnesota West.
