The M State Men's Basketball team win their Spartan Classic Tournament with a decisive 93-65 victory over Sisseton-Whapeton.
M State shot the ball well, making 48.6% (34-70) of their field goal attempts and shooting 39% (9-23) from 3-point land. Once again, all five starters were in double digits. Tindall (14 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists) had another double-double. McArthur (20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block), Muir (19 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists), Kambalo (15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) and Alemadi (15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals) continued their excellent play for the Spartans.
M State had only 8 turnovers and were in command on the boards with a 54-18 advantage.
The Spartans will open MCAC Southern Division play with a road contest on Wednesday at Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington. They will open their conference home season on Saturday with a 3:00pm start time against Riverland Community College.
