McKnight Earns National Player of the Week

The NJCAA has announced its weekly edition of the NJCAA Players of the Week for the 2021-22 academic year, featuring men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.

Kicker Carsen McKnight has earned this week's DIII Football National Special Teams Player of the Week honor. The freshman from Coalville, UT was perfect on extra point attempts as he nailed four in the 28-14 Spartan win over Central Lakes on Saturday. Carsen has yet to miss an extra point this season, totaling nine PAT's through the first two weeks of the season.

The Spartans return to the field this Saturday as they play host to NDSCS. Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 PM.
