Freshman Kenny McKay big game against Minnesota West earns him MCAC Western Division Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Freshman safety Kenny McKay earned MCAC Western Division Defensive Player of the Week honors. McKay have two INT's and a force fumble and recovery during last weeks game vs Minnesota West. He also finished with 9 tackles in the game. McKay has been an issue for QB's this year as he has recorded 4 interception in 4 games.
The Spartans will travel to Thief River Falls this weekend to face Northland CTC. Kick-Off is schedule for 1:30 pm.
