The Spartans took the nightcap, 6-5 when Logan Pulju walked them off with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Spartans took the nightcap 6-5 when Logan Pulju walked them off with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Game two leaders for M State were Davis (2-3, 2B, HR, 4RBI, R), Pulju (2-3, 2B, 2RBI, 2R), Fisher (2-3, 2R) and Hamann (1-4, R). Carson Bevill (2IP, 4H, R, 3K) opened the game on the mound and Evan Lunde (2IP, H, 0R, 2K, 1BB) earned the win. Monson pitched three innings in relief. The lefty gave up four hits and four runs, only one of which was earned.
Rainy River was led by Domingo Olmedo (2-4, R), Ian Becker (1-3, HR, RBI, 2R), Josh Johnson (2-3), Alex Levkov (1-3, RBI) and Austin Jackson-Anderson (2-3, SB).
The Spartans will play two games at Ridgewater College in Willmar on Saturday and will host the Warriors in a Sunday double header in Fergus Falls.
