Spartans battled back to take a 15-14 victory in game two.
Game two was a back-and-forth battle. The game was tied 2-2 after one, but Anoka-Ramsey scored 7 second inning runs and led 9-3 after two. The Rams made in 10-3 with a single run in the top of the third, however, M State pushed across seven runs in the bottom of the inning to forge a 10-10 tie. M State trailed 14-11 heading into the bottom of the fifth where they scored three runs to tie the game. M State was able to plate the game winner in the bottom of the seventh to gain the split.

M State was led at the plate by Ian Staton (2-3, 2RBI, 2R), Eoghan Fisher (2-3, 2B, 2RBI, 2R), Ben Monson (2-4, RBI, 2R), Jackson Martin (1-4, 2B, R), Bryce Kruger (1-2, RBI, R) and Mike Short (1-3. HR, 2RBI, 2R, SB). Short (3IP, 2H, 2ER, 4BB, 0K) was the winning pitcher, coming on in relief of starter Brett Engelmeyer.
"Game two was wild and we just grinded it out and didn't quit when we got down and after our game one loss," stated Spartan Head Coach Grant Harding. "I think a lot of guys would have quit, but it's a testament to our guys that they didn't. I was very proud to see us come out ahead and walk it off."
M State will close out their regular season schedule with a pair of games against Ridgewater College in Willmar on Wednesday afternoon.
