The Spartans failed to get a hit in the opener as Wyatt Doubler fanned five in pitching five perfect innings. Anoka-Ramsey pounded out 24 hits, including home runs from Jacob Contreras (4-5, HR, 2RBI, 3R), Noah Findeis (2-3, 2B, HR, 5RBI, 3R) and Jeremy Brown (4-5, HR, 4RBI, R). Other top hitters for the Rams were Patrick Brey (3-4, 2 2B, 5RBI, 3R), Ricky Ramsdell (4-5, 2B, 3R), Matthew Ramsdell (2-2, RBI, 4R) and Ramon Perez (2-4, 3RBI, 2R).
