Central lakes takes the double header night cap 18-0

Central Lakes won a double header from M State on Wednesday, winning game one, 10-7, and taking the nightcap, 18-0. The Raiders had 13 hits in the first game and followed that up with 10 hits in game two.
The Spartans had a 7-2 lead after five innings in the first game, but Central Lakes scored five times in the sixth to tie the game and then scored 3 runs in the eighth to pick up the win. Hitting leaders for the Raiders were Mason Argir (2-5, 2RBI, 2R), Beau Lepel (2-4, 2 2B, RBI, 3R), Adam (Deuce) Braun (2-3, 2B, 2RBI, 2R, SB), Noah Cekalla (3-5, 2RBI, SB) and Erubiel Ozuna (2-3. 2R). The Spartans were led by Beau Fetting (3-5, 2R, SB), Jackson Martin (2-3, 2 2B, 2RBI, R), Mike Short (2-4, 2B, RBI, R), Ben Monson (1-5, 3B, RBI, R) and Logan Pulju (0-1, 2BB, 2R).
Adam (Deuce) Braun knocked in five runs for Central Lakes in their 18 run third inning in game two. Braun had a single and a home run in the inning. Justin Stalboerger, Brett Letness and Devin Waldorf each contributed a pair of RBI in the inning and everyone in the lineup scored at least one run in the game. Alex Trittington scored 3 times to lead the Raiders. Devin Begay (5IP, 2H, 2BB, 6K) was the winning pitcher. Logan Pulju had a single and Ben Monson a double for the only two Spartan hits.
M State is scheduled to play a double header at Alexandria on Saturday and will host Anoka-Ramsey on Sunday afternoon.
