M State's Amara Neuerburg Qualifies for National Tournament

M State's Amara Neuerburg is moving on to the NJCAA Division III Women's Golf National Tournament in Chautauqua, NY! 

 

Amara earned her spot with a two-round total of 178 at the Individual National Qualifier:

92 at Pebble Lake (Fergus Falls)

86 at Hawley Golf Club

 

Head Coach, Jason Retzlaff, shared:

"We are very excited for Amara. She played her best golf of the season in the qualifying round, including a tremendous round of 86 on Friday in Hawley. Her course management and chipping around the green were excellent. She avoided big numbers and played very consistently throughout the 36 holes. She will have a great experience competing at the national tournament in Chautauqua."

 

Nationals are June 2-5, 2026.
