      <title>Trinity Bible Comes from 4 Points Down at Halftime to Beat Spartan Men by 8</title>

      <description>On sophomore night at M State, Hayden Knick scored a team high 21 points, hitting 7-of-14 3-pointers in the game.  Fifteen of those points came in the first half as the Spartans took a 44-40 advantage into the locker room at halftime.  Trinity Bible College put together a solid second half, outscoring M State 49-37 to take an 89-81 victory.</description>

The loss leaves the Spartans and the Cyclones tied in the MCAC South with 2-3 conference records.</description>

The Spartans were outscored by just 3 points in the second half, 42-39.</description>

The Warriors had a good shooting night, making 49% (36-73) of their field goal attempts.  The Spartans only made 33% (26-79) of their shots from the floor.</description>

M State shot 36.7% (22-60) and only 20.7% (6-29) from beyond the arc.  With the Spartans leading 24-23 late in the first half, Riverland rattled off 16 straight points to go into halftime with a 39-24 lead.</description>

M State shot 39.4% (26-66) overall, but struggled from the 3-point line, going just 6-for-25 (47.8%).  They also made only 11-of-23 free throws (47.8%).</description>

      <description>The season ended for the M State Men&#x2019;s basketball team on Saturday in Herkimer, New York, with an 86-69 loss to Dallas College &#x2013; Richland in the NJCAA Division III 3rd place game.  The Spartans finished with a 30-4 record, the most wins in a single season in Spartan history.  The Thunder Ducks were trailing 27-26 when they went on a 9-point run to establish a lead they never relinquished.</description>

      <description>Two of the top teams in the country locked horns in a NJCAA Division III National Basketball Tournament semifinal game on Friday night with second-ranked Mohawk Valley hitting the game winning shot with one second on the clock to advance to the championship game with a 92-90 victory over the M State Spartans.  The Hawks will match-up with host team, Herkimer College, at 4:00pm Saturday to decide the champion, while M State has a third place date with Dallas-Richland at 1:00pm.</description>

      <description>The M State Men&#x2019;s Basketball team established a new record with 30 wins in a season as they moved into the final four of the NJCAA Division III National Tournament with a 78-58 win over Union College of New Jersey.  The Spartans held Union to 28 points below their scoring average.  Foday Sheriff moved into fifth place all time in Spartan scoring.  His 26 points pushed his career total to 1063.  He also had 15 rebounds and 8 assists.</description>

      <description>The M State Men&#x2019;s Basketball team is headed to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament for the first time since the 2003-2004 season.  The Spartans (29-2) qualified with an 84-62 win over Riverland in the Region XIII Championship game at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids.  The Spartans held the Blue Devils to 18 points in the first half as they established a 43-18 halftime advantage.</description>

Sheriff added 9 rebounds, 5 assists and a pair of blocked shots.</description>

      <description>Freshman guard Braylon Baldwin led the M State Men&#x2019;s Basketball team in Willmar on Saturday, scoring 35 points on 14-of-23 shooting, including 7-of-15 from beyond the arc, leading the Spartans to a 101-80 victory over the Ridgewater Warriors.  Baldwin also had 6 rebounds and a pair of assists.  The Spartans continued their torrid 3-point shooting, hitting 44.4% (16-36) of their treys in the game.  They hit 48.1% (38-79) of their overall field goal attempts.</description>
