Spartan Volleyball Hits the Road for Community Service

The Spartans cleaned up a section of highway near Fergus Falls as a part of their team-building efforts and the Adopt-a-Highway program. Head coach Abby Crowser's squad knows a thing or two about building good teams, as they were one of several MCAC volleyball programs in the national NJCAA Top 20 rankings througout last year.

The Spartans finished 19-8 overall in 2018 and was 8-4 in the MCAC Southern Division.  The Spartans concluded their run in the NJCAA Region XIIIA championship, falling 3-1 to host Rochester CTC.  They will open up their 2019 season on Wednesday, August 21 with a scrimmage at the University of Minnesota-Morris, a 2018 NCAA Division III Tournament team.  The Spartans will have their first regular season contest when they take part in the 2019 MCAC Crossover Tournament on August 23-24, hosted by fellow MCAC Southern Division power St. Cloud Technical & Community College.
