The Yellowjackets had three players contribute 20 or more points in the win as Nautika Kotero made 7-of-8 field goal attempts and all five of her three-pointers, scoring 21 points, and Olivia Haug recorded a double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds, including 9 offensive boards. Grace Riley added 20 points, 6 assists, 4 steals and 3 rebounds, while Jalysa Cutting contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Rochester made 45.1% (32-71) of their shots from the floor and 11-of-25 (44%) from beyond the arc. They also held a 43-26 edge on the boards.
M State was led by Taylin Schleicher (14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals), Kassandra Algarate (11 points, 3 rebounds) and Samantha Lupkes (11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists). Macky Warne added 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists and Sam Dahlgren chipped in with 6 points. The lady Spartans made 40.7% (22-54) of their field goal attempts.
M State will travel to Austin for a 1:00pm game against Riverland on Saturday.
