Spartans Head Coach Jason Retzlaff Quote:
"While we weren't able to gain ground on the teams ahead of us today, I was very happy with the way we hung in there. Our team collectively got off to an extremely rocky start and it could have gotten away from us. But the guys showed some toughness and rallied back to put up a solid score once again. The course is drying out and the greens are extremely difficult. It is always special to be in the final group on the last day of the National Championship. It's a position that this team has earned and I hope they enjoy it tomorrow. We are hoping that the final round can be the one where everything falls into place."
"It was very nice to get 3 rounds in the 70's. Chris Swenson and Nick Kress both hit the ball well today. Both Nick and Mason Landborg got off to rough starts but really did a great job to battle back and post some nice scores."
The Spartans will tee off at 10:20 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on Friday for the fourth and final round.
