Playing on his home court against MCAC North foe Mesabi Range College, Tungseth scored 46 points on 16-for-23 shooting, including a school-record performance of 10-for-17 from behind the 3-point line. He also was a perfect 4-for-4 on free throws and added seven boards. The sophomore from Fergus Falls followed up his record-setting outing with a double-double against Itasca CC (14 points / 11 rebounds).
Tungseth and his teammates are next in action on Wednesday, January 10 when they open up MCAC Southern Division play at Ridgewater College at 7:30pm in Wilmar.
